Water Buffalo
The water buffalo is the traditional symbol of Vietnam. It represents bravery, happiness and prosperity. Buffalos played a very important role in Vietnamese agriculture. They were a farmer’s most valued possession and were often treated as a part of the family. Buffalos are strong and hard working but also good natured and tame.
