The Dao ethnic group, is divided into other smaller groups. Women of this ethnic minority are easily identifiable by their black and dark-blue clothes and red patterned turbans on their heads. The Dao women combine a shirt, an overall, leggings, a headscarf embroidered and decorated with colorful pattern and gold and silver jewelry in their daily and traditional costume.
