Funeral Ceremony
Kuarup (sometimes spelled Kwarip, Kwarup, or Quarup) basically is a funeral ceremony or wake, but in practice is much more and involves Xingu cosmology, intervillage competitions (Huka Huka wrestling), and rites of passage of young girls.
