They eat Goat’s meat during festivals, otherwise all kind of meat, egg, milk and milk products are out of their menu. This is an unique practice in this climate and altitude. The Brokpas eat what grows out of the earth. They maintain small kitchen gardens where they grow vegetables herbs, fruits, wheat and barley .
