Shoes
These are the traditional shoes of Ladakh. Papu shoes come in different colors and are made up of woven Yak hair or wool with a sole of Yak leather to keep their feet warm in the cold weather of the region. A compelling feature of the moccasin-like pabu is its pointed turned-up toe, that adds to its charmingly-distinctive look. @ladakhlocal
