Marriage can happen within the family, but they have to wait for three generations on both sides, they can’t marry a sister and her daughter, but marriage can happen with the sister’s grand daughter. Marriages within a closed population is known to lead to associated problems of sterility, genetic diseases etc. , and in many cases is the reason for dwindling numbers.
