Chorten
Chortens (Ladakhi word for stupas) proliferate all over Ladakh. They mimic the mountains – which are the link between the earth and the universe – and around human habitations, the chortens are built ubiquitously to strengthen that link.
Chortens are Containers of Relics and Prayers.
