Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region or known in its short name as "Guangxi". The name "Guang" means expanse, and was derived from the Western Jin Dynasty. The terrain of Guangxi is very mountainous. These landscapes—along with similar types found in neighbouring Guizhou and Yunnan—were collectively designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2007.
